We are a manufacturing company offering solutions by providing ingredients to institutional/retail customers for personal care and hygiene/household chemicals.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales Manager, Institutional

Locations: Lagos, Abuja and Portharcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare sales plan to achieve planned business objective
  • Identification and tapping into new business opportunities, with profit focus.
  • Carry out regular customer visits for Sales, Business Development to maintain contacts and create awareness for various projects and probability to boost sales.
  • Acquire thorough understanding of key customers' needs and requirements.
  • Deal with customer grievance and follow-up with technical team for resolution and various customer trials analysis and support.
  • Coordinate with internal and external parties at the appropriate levels to ensure smooth flow of interaction and transaction.
  • To do project tracking on a continuous basis to judge the market potential for key products and striving to widen the customer base through extensive research.
  • Build confidence and develop comfort in relating with the customer to ensure their retention.
  • Expand the relationship with the customer by continuously proposing solutions their meet their objectives.
  • Ensure sales targets are achieved as per assigned product and region/key account wise through managing the effective sales strategy and follow up to ensure accomplishment of sales operational plans.
  • Prepare and update customer profile on continuous basis and build database for all key accounts.
  • Assess various information tools, identify business opportunities and pinpoint bottleneck areas to further increase sales volume, market share and profitability.
  • Adhere to all company's policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within team.

Our Preferred Candidate Should be Someone that:

  • Is well exposed to B2B & B2C Sales.
  • Can drive and achieve sales of the hygiene products and services in Food & Beverage industries in defined geographical territory.
  • Will be willing to undertake excessive traveling in and around Nigeria.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
  • Any management diploma and postgraduate degree will be an added advantage.
  • A minimum of 7 years experience in sales with a minimum of 2 years latest experience in similar product line of specialty hygiene chemicals.
  • Must have handled 2 direct reportees at managerial level.
