We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Digital Sales Representative

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Contract

Job Summary

We are looking for a results-driven Digital Sales Representative to identify and convince potential clients to purchase advertising space, plan and execute a new digital business strategy to maximize revenue growth and diversify existing revenue streams.

Responsibilities

Building and sustaining long-lasting relationships with existing and potential clients.
Conducting research on potential clients’ products or services and determining the majority of their target audience.
Persuading clients to purchase company advertising products & services by communicating the benefits of advertising on Daily Post.
Setting up meetings with potential clients to present advertising opportunities on Daily Post and addressing their concerns.
Attending sales meetings, training and sending reports as required.

Your KPIs will include the following:

Newmarket sector penetration.
Performance against agreed targets and KPIs including; Sales, Calls, Meetings, Opportunities.

Requirements

Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 1 - 2 years of work experience.
Proven track record in client relationship management and delivering new business growth.
Extensive sales experience in one or more of the following sectors: media, advertising or content-related businesses.
Proven track record in managing, driving and motivating a commercially minded and targeted account management team.
Extensive knowledge of commercial models and revenue trends across digital publishing.
Analytical knowledge in terms of understanding data and ability to make recommendations.
The role will involve working closely with marketing, editorial, product development and clients directly.
Formal sales training will be beneficial.
