Job Title: Business Development Manager - Marketing

Role Overview

  • HANC Hiring Educators is working with a prominent international school to hire a Business Development Manager (Marketing) responsible for marketing, branding, and recruitment of students who will make a significant and sustainable contribution to the school’s financial and educational goals.
  • Reporting to the School Administrator, the Business Development Manager (Marketing) will play a key role in our continued successful development and contribute to evolving strategies for future student recruitment growth in Kaduna and nationwide.
  • The BDM will work collaboratively with other school members to develop existing relationships with corporate sponsors, developing more corporate relationships that support recruitment and help grow the portfolio in line with the school’s strategy.
  • The BDM will maintain excellent working relationships with teaching, non-teaching, and administrative staff at the school. In addition, the BDM will be responsible for building and maintaining the alumni register and will ensure that alumni remain connected with the school.

What We Are Looking For:

  • You are an experienced Marketer and have a passion for Marketing and Branding.
  • You have experience working in the marketing department of a school and the recruitment of students.
  • You are a brand creator and able to hunt for new business opportunities.
  • You can chase and close deals and have a proven track record in proactively targeting new business across brand new, dormant and existing clients.
  • You have the vision, intellect, and domain expertise to seek and build successful sales strategies and capitalize on stimulating opportunities.
  • You have a solid understanding of the educational sector in Northern Nigerian and Nigeria, an independent thinker, self-driven and motivated and stand for quality and commitment to building real expertise.

Key Requirements

  • The successful candidate will have a 3rd level Business Degree or equivalent.
  • The person will have a minimum of 5 years senior B2B consultative sales experience with at least 2 years in a management role, with an impressive proven track record of achieving.
  • sales targets and results in a challenging environment
  • Strong ability to build personal rapport with a wide range of stakeholders, recruitment agents/institutes, relevant external agents.
