Job Title: Business Development Manager
About Company: Our Company is a renowned licensed courier and logistics company, with HQ in Lagos.
We are looking to hire an experience Business Development Manager. The business development manager is responsible for developing business solutions, identify sales leads, pitch goods or services to new clients and maintain a good working relationship. The main goal is to generate more revenue for the company.
• Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
• Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
• Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
• Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
• Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
• Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
• Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
• Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
• Eager to expand the company with new sales, clients, and territories
Key Requirements
• Proven work experience as a business development manager, sales executive in courier and logistics
• Proven sales track record
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Sales force)
• Market knowledge
• Communication and negotiation skills
• BSc/BA in business administration, sales or relevant field
• Professional certificate is an added advantage
