1 Hundred HR Consult - Our client, a leading Fine Dining Restaurant and Pizzeria is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Executive

Location: Kwara

Job Objectives

  • The individual having previous experience and knowledge in the hospitality industry (food and drink service) will be responsible for developing strategies for establishing and retaining business growth opportunities, primarily obtaining new clients, and fostering business relationships to increase revenue from sales.
  • The individual will be responsible for providing and/or managing the procurement of a range of initiatives including business advice and support for food delivery, managing supply chain issues, new product development, creation of new markets.

Responsibilities
Strategy:

  • Identify business development opportunities, support sales and delivery teams to propose new business, and drive such opportunities from concept to implementation and execution of such plan while tracking outcomes
  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Research and identify new leads and potential new markets
  • Develop new markets and increase penetration of existing markets

Sales and Marketing:

  • Plan and oversee new marketing initiatives
  • Identify segment opportunities and build effective sales plans to capitalize on those segments
  • Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc
  • Find and develop new markets and improve sales
  • Develop relationships with retailers and wholesalers to influence procurement of necessary materials
  • Identify opportunities for promotions, additional services, and distribution avenues that will lead to an increase in sales

Performance Management and Improvement:

  • Develop goals for the team and business growth and ensuring they are met
  • Train personnel and help team members develop their skills
  • Promote the company’s products / services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
  • Perform audits, assessments, and training courses as well as administrative duties, such as preparing sales budgets and reports, maintaining sales records, and filing reports
  • Review weekly, monthly, and quarterly growth objectives and specifically the results for target accounts and prepare action plans where improvement is needed.

Education and Experience

  • Proven work experience as a business development executive, sales executive, or related field
  • 3 - 5 years business development experience in hospitality, logistics
  • Experience in customer support is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or relevant field.
