Job Description

  • Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to manage programs,increase company revenue across all products and services.
  • Schedule and plan projects, evaluate and recommend marketing opportunities consistent with product line objectives.
  • Business development responsibilities would include cold calling and prospecting in order to brand create awareness and drive sales of In addition the individual will oversee development of strategic market/product line business plans and marketing programs. Strong communication skills, teamwork, and the ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and operate effectively in a cross-functional environment are essential.

Duties and Key Responsibilities

  • Comfortable with a wide variety of technologies and ability to learn new tools quickly
  • Must be a self-starter, relationship builder, technology enthusiast, and extremely organized
  • Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/Social media etc.) and market research methods
  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
  • Promote the company's products/services addressing or predicting clients' objectives
  • Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
  • Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
  • Develop entry level staff into valuable salespeople
  • Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
  • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
  • Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
  • Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
  • Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
  • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
  • Developing quotes and proposals for clients.
  • Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.
  • Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills.
  • Works with colleagues to support contact management efforts via InterAction (including contact updates, development of targeted marketing lists, tagging client activities, etc.).

Requirements

  • Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role
  • Proven sales track record
  • Experience in customer support is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
  • Proficiency in English
  • Market knowledge
  • Communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build rapport
  • Time management and planning skills
  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree qualifications.
  • Minimum of 2 - 8 years work experience.

Salary
N120,000 - N150,000 monthly.
