We are in need of an Area Sales Manager that will be in charge Pan-Nigeria and be responsible for accomplishing the company's sales objectives of the designated area of operation (one or multiple states) and Team Management.
Primary job responsibilities would include:
Managing & training existing sales team to drive volume and revenue growth of the Area assigned to.
Establish, manage & develop efficient distribution set-up across the area.
Appoint new distribution network & fill gaps in the territory with targeted secondary selling practice
Closely monitor sales team's performance, analyze MIS reports
Execute creative sales and marketing strategies
Market Intelligence on our products, competition brands, other categories and follow all formal reporting formats.
Business Hygiene - Ensure both sales executives and sales promoters reconcile their stocks and cash accounts with the distributors regularly
A Higher National Diploma / Bachelor's / PG in Business Administration, Marketing or related fields is preferred
Proven sales experience & knowledge, including familiarity with current trends in sales methods
Minimum 3 years of experience required, depending on past sales experience and industry
Experience in the food manufacturing industry is also required
Conversant in MS Office, generating reports in Microsoft Excel, Preparing Powerpoint presentations
Strong communication skills with an ability to communicate across different levels of the organization
Notable interpersonal skills with a positive demeanour and ability to provide both positive and negative feedback effectively
Willingness to travel regularly to attend and host meetings and assist with general management duties.
