We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Technical Project Manager

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos + Virtual
Reporting Line: Chief Technology Officer

Job Purpose

  • The purpose of this role is to manage the technical projects, incumbent will partner lwith eadership, production and technical teams to develop product roadmaps and ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Create user stories & acceptance criteria
  • Translate business requirements into technical requirements
  • Partner with leadership, production and technical teams to develop product roadmaps.
  • Backlog management, iteration, planning, and elaboration of the user stories
  • Participate in the technical design, and the development of functional specifications
  • Lead the development team
  • Ensure clean and well-documented code
  • Manage the project to ensure successful delivery
  • Track and report project progress
  • Manage communication with all stakeholders
  • Remove blockers, manage risks to help team deliver on the company's goals and objectives

The Ideal Person
The Ideal candidate must have;

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Leadership experience and strong teaming abilities
  • Minimum 2 Years of experience in IT project management or a related field.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Solid understanding of software development life-cycle best practices
  • An ability to drive to big picture goals and milestones while valuing and maintaining a strong attention to detail
  • Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, fluent in English
  • A problem-solving, analytical mindset and strong decision-making capabilities
  • Ability to communicate effectively with teams and clients
  • Effectively lead teams and inspire others to achieve goals through innovation, quality and excellence
  • Experience in troubleshooting, software development processes and ability to understand and implement client requirements.
  • Possesses good knowledge of different software systems, client/server architectures and various compatibility requirements.
  • Solid knowledge of technical development concepts, latest software tools and technologies, strong database concepts and designing techniques.
