Job Title: Security Manager

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Job type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Plan and develop the overall security strategy for our company.
  • Create, implement and communicate security policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement security policies, protocols and procedures.
  • Control budgets for security operations and monitor expenses.
  • Recruit, train and supervise security officers and guards.
  • Attend meetings with other managers to determine operational needs.
  • Plan and coordinate security operations for specific events.
  • Coordinate staff when responding to emergencies and alarms.
  • Review reports on incidents and breaches.
  • Investigate and resolve issues.
  • Create reports for management on security status.
  • Analyze data to form proposals for improvements (e.g. implementation of new technology).

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience as a security manager preferably within the Oil and Gas / Construction Industry .
  • Strong experience with security protocols and procedures.
  • Previous experience with budgeting and budget planning.
  • Previous leadership experience.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Great leadership skills.
