Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • We are looking for a professional HR and Administrative with international work experience and certification.
  • Responsibly for ensuring that the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of human resources plans and programs are realized.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
  • Maintain organization staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counselling
  • Managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit interviews; recommending changes.
  • Prepare employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs.
  • Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors.
  • Maintain employee benefits programs and informs employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefit.
  • Ability to possess excellent decision-making, strategic thinking, leadership, interpersonal, and ethical conduct skills
  • Needs and trends; recommending benefit programs to management; directing the processing of benefit programs.
  • Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings.
  • Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
  • Working with accounting and management team to set budgets, monitor spending, and processing payroll and other expenses.
  • Planning, scheduling, and promoting office events, including meetings, conferences, interviews, orientations, and training sessions.
  • Collecting, organizing, and storing information using computers and filing systems.
  • Overseeing special projects and tracking progress towards company goals.
  • Building new and expanding existing skills by engaging in educational opportunities.
  • Maintain historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system, keeping past and current records.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Complete human resource operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
  • Maintain human resource staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.

Key Skills / Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of two 5 years post-graduate experience with a minimum of two 2 years in a similar position.
  • International work experience.
  • A good first degree in Human Resource Management or the Social Sciences
  • Membership of CIPM/CIPD/SPHR/SHRM will be an added advantage.
  • General knowledge of the principles and practices of personnel administration
  • Proficient computer skills and working knowledge of the Internet.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and make deadlines.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrates good judgment; approachable and professional; solid problem solving skills; ability to handle multiple tasks; self-motivated; well organized
