Job Title: Crop Farm Coordinator

Location: Oyo

Job Description
The ideal candidate will be competent to do the following:

  • Direct and coordinate worker activities, such as planting, irrigation, chemical application, harvesting, grading, and recordkeeping.
  • Coordinate growing activities with those of engineering, equipment maintenance, packing houses, and other related departments.
  • Analyse market conditions to determine acreage allocations.
  • Confer with purchasers and arranges for sale of crops. (together with Operations Coordinator)
  • Record information, such as production, farm management practices, and parent stock, and prepares financial and operational reports. (together with Operations Coordinator)
  • Determine procedural changes in drying, grading, storage, and shipment for greater efficiency and accuracy. (together with Operations Coordinator)
  • Analyse soil to determine type and quantity of fertilizer required for maximum production.
  • Inspect equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • Inspect orchards and fields to determine maturity dates of crops or to estimate potential crop damage from weather.

  • Candidates should possess relevant qualifications.
