We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Group Head, Engineering

Location: Lagos

Description

  • The position require professionals possessing negotiation and collaboration skills needed to deliver exceptional service to our partners and inspire a team of people across companies in the group.

Summary

  • We are looking for a Head of Engineering to lead our engineering department and help us deliver exceptional services.
  • The incumbent will also manage our infrastructure and ensure all internal systems operate securely and effectively.
  • Experience in project bidding, installation and commissioning of security and fire alarm, fire suppression system, pipeline and urban surveillance / CCTV system is an essential requirement.
  • The successful candidate should have extensive experience as engineer, should have managed complex tech projects and know how to deliver on projects to specification.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee front-end and back-end development teams and their projects; ensure compliance with security regulations; manage projects by setting requirements, goals and timelines; prepare and manage the engineering department’s budget; hire engineers and coordinate their training; implement innovative technologies; coordinate with external stakeholders for new integrations and tools; review and update policies relevant to internal systems and equipment

Requirements

  • B.Sc / MSc in Engineering, Computer Science or relevant field
  • Work experience as a Head of Engineering or in a similar senior-level position at an engineering department
  • Minimum of 15 years post qualification experience, with not less than five years in a senior role; hands-on experience in back-and and front-end project execution
  • Good understanding of security gadgets installation methodologies
  • Leadership abilities with a strategic mind; excellent project management skills
  • Must not be more than 45 years of age by December this year.
