Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Location: Lagos Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Description of Role

  • Our client are looking to hire Electrical Engineers with proven experience in installing, maintaining, repairing electrical wiring and inspecting, testing, repairing and modifying electrical components and systems.

Job Description
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the following:

  • Handling and interpreting building plans, electrical drawings and blueprints
  • Overseeing and inspecting electrical wiring, switches and junction boxes installations
  • Overseeing foremen and junior electricians under his supervision
  • Participating in electrical engineering activities for expansion or modification of existing sites
  • Supervising electrical and technical activities during construction or operations activities at various locations.
  • Ensuring that all the works are done following the approved construction drawings, contract documents, project specifications, and applicable standards
  • Providing daily and weekly progress reports for all sites.
  • Dealing with major complaints, complex claims, and other problems..

Minimum Qualifications

  • A minimum of either a B.Sc degree or HND in Electrical Engineering.
  • 2 - 4 years experience as an Electrical Engineer, supervising various building sites.
  • Experience in the construction industry is an added advantage

Skills Required:

  • Versed in identifying electrical problems and providing solutions to resolve such issues.
  • Proficient in the use of AutoCAD is compulsory.
  • Good knowledge of residential electrical design, building services and installations.
  • Proactive and reliable, able to thrive working in a busy environment.
  • Able to multitask and prioritise tasks.
  • Strong work ethic and high level of integrity.
  • Well-developed organisational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong sense of responsibility and ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.

Salary
N120,000 - N180,000 monthly (Gross)
