Job Title: Chief of Staff

Location: Lagos

Job Description

They require the services of a self-motivated and results-driven Chief of Staff who has extensive experience leading teams.
This role is defined by its ability to provide strategic counsel to the Executive Director and members of the Executive Council.
His/her day-to-day responsibilities vary dramatically depending on the time of the year and the committees involved.
This position is a critical component in supporting a successful leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

Set Executive Director’s strategic priorities, time, and evaluate progress.
Review internal and external communications, also monitor information flow.
Serve as a strategic advisor and counsel to Committee Chairs.
Serve as the secretary of the Executive Council and manage the meeting cadence.
Plan and lead company retreats, stepbacks, and other special events.
Oversee large, often cross-functional organization-wide projects or initiatives.
Bring together multiple stakeholders and help drive decisions.
Create systems and processes to streamline operations.
Create and maintain cross-departmental relationships to enable leadership success.
Lead annual strategic planning for the organization.
Create and update dashboards for reviewing key performance indicators.
Research, benchmark, analyze data and make recommendations.
Lead hiring processes and manage new hires in the office of the Executive Director.

Person Specification

Degree in Business Management or Master's in Business Administration.
Strong knowledge of different business functions.
Strong leadership qualities.
Excellent communication skills.
Highly organized with a strong work ethic.
Good interpersonal skills.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft office tools.
Proactive nature
