Job Title: Bottling Line Technician

Location: Isolo, Lagos

Job Summary

  • We are searching for an innovative line Technician to join our team and ensure quality products are delivered on time.
  • The Line Technician's responsibilities will include monitoring and servicing all the bottling equipment (water treatment equipment, air conveyor, rinser machine, filling machine, capping machine, labeler machine, shrink wrapping machine and conveyor), writing up reports, diagnosing and resolving problems with products, methods, and equipment, and general support to the engineering team.

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct bottling & packaging line activities in line with SOPs as directed by the Supervisor  
  • Assist Machine Setters / Operators with bottling & packaging machine changeovers as directed on a timely basis to meet bottling & packaging plan requirements.
  • Monitor machine outputs confirming machine settings are delivering a quality product - if not immediately correct problem.
  • Assist with other duties as requested ̵ Report damage and faults immediately to Operations Supervisor and also make plan for immediate correction.
  • Maintain bottling & packaging area hygiene, upkeep and cleanliness to the highest industry standard
  • Comply with all Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) legislation, Regulations and Codes of Practice relevant to your work, as well as Delegate Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) policies and procedures.
  • Must be innovative and technically sound and have deep knowledge and understanding of the stated bottling equipment
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems with all the equipment, devices, or product
  • Must be able to carry out RCA, monitor processes and equipment for quality and productivity
  • Must be very sound in TPM implementation and preventive maintenance method
  • staying up-to-date with efficient method of equipment maintenance procedures
  • Must be able to develop daily, weekly and monthly machine checklist and follow up implementation.

Qualification/Skills

  • BSc / HND related field
  • At least 5 years as Bottling Line Technician
  • Sound Understanding of Bottling Machine Operation
  • Proficiency in RCA and Problem Solving.
