Job Summary

We are looking for a competent and talented Production Manager to support all aspects of film or TV production and to assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches the Director’s vision and is suitable for broadcasting
As a Production Manager, you should be able to bring sight and sound together in order to tell a captivating story
If you want to prove yourself and work your way up the ranks in film making, this is the place to start.

Job Description

Meeting the producer and other senior production staff to examine scripts or program ideas, drawing up a shooting schedule and estimating cost.
Hiring crews and contractors, and negotiating rates of pay, negotiating costs and approving the booking of resources, equipment and suppliers.
Overseeing location bookings and arranging any necessary permissions and risk assessments.
Help prepare the set with lights, props, equipment etc.
Develop movie production briefs to the production team Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity.
Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects Create rough and final cuts.
Ensure logical sequencing and smoothrunning Consult with stakeholders from production to postproduction process.
Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.

Job Requirements

B.Sc / HND in Cinematography, Theatre Art, Mass Communication, Journalism, Film Studies or any related related.
Minimum of 2 years experience in production management.
Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, Lightworks, After Effects and Final Cut) and ability to demonstrate video editing with a strong portfolio.
Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing Creative mind and storytelling skills.
