The Myschool portal provides up-to-date information, resource materials and academic tools for prospective students, undergraduates and graduates of tertiary institutions in Nigeria.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Study Abroad Coordinator / Manager

Location: Lekki / Ajah, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Study Abroad Coordinator / Manager is expected to advise and guide students towards realizing their goals of studying abroad.
  • The candidate must possess adequate knowledge regarding international studies and education as well as the logistics required for making study, visa, and travel arrangements.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Counsel and advise students on all aspects of study abroad.
  • Initiate and establish relationships with institutions and study abroad providers outside the country.
  • Serve as liaison to study abroad providers, institutions, and partners.
  • Manage the application process, documentation, visa procurement, etc.
  • Maintain regular communication with students, their parents or families, and other relevant stakeholders, throughout the period of engagement (until the student travels).
  • Screen incoming inquiry emails / calls and respond or redirect as appropriate.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Three (3) years of work experience in a similar position.
  • At least a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution of higher education.
  • Experience regarding what it takes to study and live abroad.
  • Knowledge of educational and grading systems outside Nigeria.
  • Knowledge of best practices in study abroad.
  • Reside around the Lekki-Ajah axis.
  • Must not be older than 35 years.

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and/or intercultural skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical, assessment, and evaluation skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with students of all backgrounds
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software tools
  • Self-motivation, with a positive and problem-solving attitude
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
