We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior Product Manager

Location: Abuja

Details

  • The Senior Product Manager is responsible for leading software related projects in the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the strategic decisions about technology, definition, implementation and releasable deliverables for projects and initiatives.
  • Facilitate, along with Team Leads, to analyze and challenge product requirements and feature functionality against product technology capabilities in order to discover, plan and mitigate project risk.
  • Participate with Team Leads to be a subject matter expert on the product and technology, to be used in planning projects.
  • Ensure features that span internal and offshore teams are well coordinated.
  • Coach Borome engineering best practices, development standards, and team norms to improve productivity, velocity, predictability and quality while retaining an entrepreneurial and collaborative culture.
  • Improve the Agile/Scrum, planning and estimating processes with Team Leads and ScrumMasters to ensure deadlines are met and high quality releases are delivered.
  • Manage software development related relationships across the organization to manage expectations and making sure everyone understands solutions to problems and goals of initiatives and the department.
  • Manage all facets of the SDLC in collaboration with Team Leads and ScrumMasters, including project planning, architecture, software development and delivery.
  • Establish and sustain a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration.

Skills and Qualifications
Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years of related software leadership experience.
  • Live in Abuja. Preferred:
  • Experience in Agile, Lean, Scrum.
  • Experience in FinTech.
  • Prior work with SaaS applications.
  • Knowledge of open source technologies as well as commercial technologies.
