We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior Advisor for Private Sector Engagement and Distribution Partnership in Nigeria

Location: Lagos

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Advisor for Private Sector Engagement and Distribution Partnership in Nigeria who will be advising Groots in private sector engagement and partnership building in Nigeria, particularly in strategic initial introduction of Groots and its partnership offering to high-level contacts in identified businesses including wholesale, distribution as well as brands with presence and established contacts and collaboration with smaller local retailers in semi-urban and rural areas.
You utilize your extensive and high-level network and skills in business negotiation and partnership building. This is a short-term contract position starting as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

Identify and engage with suitable distribution partners of Groots’ core system in Nigeria including wholesale, distribution as well as brands with presence and established contacts and collaboration with smaller local retailers in semi-urban and rural areas
Advise engagement and partnership strategy to ensure effective and successful distribution partnership
Represent and identify business opportunities with the private sector in Nigeria

Qualifications

At least 10 years’ experience working in business management, supply chain management, private sector engagement or marketing, five of which must have been in a strategic, high-level managerial or senior advisor position.
Extensive high-level managerial network and connection in relevant businesses including wholesale, distribution as well as brands with presence and established contacts and collaboration with smaller local retailers in semi-urban and rural areas
Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Marketing or related fields
Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
Computer literacy and familiarity with standard office computer applications
Ability to work independently, flexibly and in remote team working environment
English Language Proficiency.
