A leading Publishing company in Ibadan, Oyo State is seeking to recruit experienced and self-driven individuals to fill the position below:

Job Title: Publishing Manager

Location: Nationwide

Job Description

  • Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate should have a solid knowledge of the publishing process
  • Managing a team of Editors and content developers, the candidate would be responsible for managing all deadlines & operational details of the publishing process
  • Collaborate effectively with key partners i.e. Authors and other stakeholders.

Requirements

  • First Degree in Language Arts and a Second Degree in any qualifying subject with a minimum of 10 years cognate experience working in a similar role.
  • He/she must possess excellent organisational skills, strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Must also have user knowledge of DTP applications (InDesign, CorelDraw, PageMaker, Adobe Creative Suite etc.)
  • Candidates are expected to have demonstrable technical and analytical skills, good communication and interpersonal skills and an excellent drive to achieve targets.
