Quantity Surveyor

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • Our company which is into the business of Architectural hardware is in search of Quantity Surveyor.
  • The Candidate for this position is expected to be organized, result oriented, intelligent, purpose driven and professional in all senses.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Application Software and AutoCAD will be an added advantage

Duties and Responsibilities
Tender Stage:

  • Analyzing Drawings / unpriced Bill of Quantities;
  • Carrying out site inspections and physical measurements where necessary;
  • Preparation of Quotation for all prospectus projects;
  • Weekly tender report and valuation report;
  • Follow up on already dispatched tenders;
  • Keeping records of tender documents;

Implementation & Project Execution:

  • Carrying out site inspections and physical measurements where necessary;
  • Project Execution Budget for awarded projects;
  • Resource schedule (Materials) for all awarded projects;
  • Materials transfer order and tracking of stock materials update report;
  • Liaising with freelance installers and client QS/ Project manager;
  • Payment schedule for vendors/freelance installers;
  • Advice payment to vendors / freelance;
  • Project Valuation and material reconciliation Audit report;
  • Preparation of variation and capturing same in valuation;
  • Tracking changes to the design and / or construction work and adjusting budget projections accordingly;
  • Preparing and follow up of contract claims;
  • Attending site meetings when necessary.
