We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Radiochemist

Location: Oshodi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Aseptic compounding, using non-radioactive kit formulations and manufacturing of cyclotron based PET radiopharmaceuticals (e.g. 18FDG)for both in-house clinical use and outdoor commercial PET centre requirements under SOPs &cGMP guidelines of NNRA & IAEA.
  • Establishing and reviewing policies and protocols related to the preparation, use, and disposal of radioactive chemicals and maintains appropriate documentation associated with it.
  • Maintain the qualification and calibration of automated and semi-automated radiopharmaceutical manufacturing and QC equipment.
  • Regular revalidation of production processes.
  • Prepare analytical reports for outdoor radiopharmaceutical exports.
  • Packaging of radiopharmaceutical according to the ordinance on transportation of radioactive materials.
  • Handling, packaging, labelling and storing radioactive drugs and hazardous materials in compliance with radiation safety practices.

Qualifications

  • Interested candidates should possess a Master's Degree
  • 1 - 2 years relevant work experience.
