Job Title: Procurement Officer

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for market & information on materials pricing and makes the best buying decision
  • Forecasting the demand and data collation on the materials needed to avoid Stock out situation
  • Good knowledge in the overall business process and ensuring the timely delivery of goods and materials
  • Ensure profitable relationship with all suppliers.
  • Ensure raw materials are sourced at the minimum market price
  • Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnership
  • Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
  • Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company

Requirements

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement and Stores Management, Commerce, Business Administration or related fields
  • Minimum of Four (4) years working experience as Procurement Officer in Agricultural and Food Industry
  • Good organizational, coordinating, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of managing systems & processes
  • Good negotiation & conflict management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suites especially Excel
