West African Vocational Education (WAVE) is solving what is arguably the biggest challenge on the continent: youth unemployment. In West Africa, 40-85% of youth, more than 50 million, are either unemployed or underemployed. Meanwhile, job creation in the region is on the rise. The disconnect between work-ready youth and the employment market must be bridged.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Party Assistant / Event Planner

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Working on all parties from prepping to setting up at venues and packing up.
  • Responsible for all logistics for events
  • Accurately Manage Expenses in Accordance With Budgetary Requirements.
  • Create and Implement On-Site Attendee Experience Strategy.

Work Hours:

  • 9 AM - 7 PM, 6 days a week.

Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree with 1 - 2 years work experience.

Skills and Proficiency:

  • Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Conflict management skills
  • Customer service skills.
  • Ability to be a team player.

Salary

  • N70,000 monthly.

 

Note: The Ideal candidate should live close to the location.
