Jemi Neil Consulting - Our client, a Microfinance Bank seeks to engage the services of an experienced and detail-oriented candidate to fill the position below:

Job Title: Operations Officer

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Descriptions

  • We seek to engage the services of an organized and driven operations officer that will effectively develop and enact company policies and increase efficiency of operations for our organization.
  • Candidate must be a strong leader with excellent interpersonal skills and an outstanding business intellect.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee and direct daily company administrative processes and procedures.
  • Report to and assist Chief Operating Officer in daily tasks and duties.
  • Ensure company policies align with and advance business objectives.
  • Strategically map-out, plan, and manage projects.
  • Analyze and maintain operational data.
  • Develop improved business functionality that increases profits.
  • Communicate with management teams to confirm execution of company processes​​
  • Design and continuously improve existing and new business processes.
  • Ensure compliance at all times with Regulatory.

Qualifications and Experience
Essential requirements:

  • At least 2 years experience in consumer or commercial lending either as a business / systems / process analyst or credit / risk / collections manager.
  • Competent Project Management skills.
  • Understanding of the full credit lifecycle including acquisition, fraud, account management, collections and recoveries.
  • Familiar with operating Loan Banking Applications such as Bank One or other enterprise software.
  • Numerically savvy, able to work with data, perform analysis and communicate result.
  • Experienced in performance management.
  • Proficient on Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Decision making skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem solving abilities.
