Job Title: Operations Manager

Locations: Aba - Abia, Owerri - Imo, Port Harcourt - Imo, Lagos, Abuja & Onitsha - Anambra

Core Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overall management of the operation by providing leadership and direction to create process improvements and establish a team environment.
  • Organize, plan and implement transportation solutions to maximize profitability and guarantee customer satisfaction.
  • Operate terminal efficiently by analyzing operating costs, TAT, early departure and maintenance of buses/trucks.
  • Drive the financial performance of the Company.
  • Drive business development that will transform the passenger and courier business of the Company during this challenging economic period.

Candidate Profile

  • Graduate qualifications in Business Administrations, Transport Management, and other relevant fields would be an advantage.
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in passenger Transport or courier business operations of Redstar Express, DHL, FedEx, UPS, GIG, Peace Mass and other reputable Transport or courier companies

Skills and Competencies:

  • Must be a visionary leader with a high level of commercial acumen and a track record in managing the passenger Transport/Courier business.
  • Must have a deep understanding of passenger Transport and Courier operations, trucks/buses maintenance, scheduling and Terminal management
  • Strong Business development and marketing skills including ability to identify and implement new business opportunities
  • Ability to drive organizational changes needed to adapt strategically to changing business terrain and technology
  • Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.
