Job Title: Montessori Trained Early Years Educator

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Description

  • Reggio Emilia / Montessori Trained Educator who can develop and foster age appropriate skills and social abilities to enable the optimum development of children.
  • Access and document progress of each child. Develop and deepen pupil’s previous knowledge and inspire them to deepen their knowledge and understanding.
  • Develop the scheme of work and lesson plan according to each child’s ability and way of learning.
  • Passion to inspire young minds and a commitment to ensuring every child achieves their potential.
  • Organizing the classroom and learning resources and creating displays to encourage a positive learning environment.
  • Planning, preparing and presenting lessons that cater for the needs of the whole ability range in the class.
  • Motivating pupils wth enthusiastic and imaginative presentations.
  • Maintaining discipline.
  • Providing feedback to parents and carers on a pupil's progress at parents meeting or evenings.
  • Keeping up to date with the changes and development in the structure of the curriculum.
  • Organizing and taking parts in school events, outings and activities which may take part weekends or evenings.

Job Qualifications

  • B.Ed qualification
  • Minimum of 2 years experience.
