Job Description / Requirements

  • Should have a minimum of WAEC. NCE, is an added advantage.
  • Must have special love for children, tolerant and passion to correct errors with smile
  • Be of good character, humble and ready to learn
  • Effectively take care of pupils in her assigned class, ensuring the pupils remain neat and unstained
  • Help the children to take their foods and snacks
  • Oversee the overall hygiene of the pupils assigned to her
  • Reports any feeling of sickness noticed in the pupils to the class teacher, head teacher, school administrator and the child’s parent
  • Ensure that pupils are only handed over to the parents or their nominated alternative(s)
  • Support the class teacher in the daily assessment of the progress of pupils under their care
  • Ensures that students abide by the rules and regulations of the school
  • Contributes her quota towards the growth and development of the school
  • Receives complaints from parents and channel it to the appropriate quarters
  • Where applicable, provide guidance and counseling support to students as assigned
  • Handles any other duty and position as assigned by the Principal and / or School Administrator.
