Job Title: Manager
Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Part-time
The manager is an employee who is responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing the operations and fiscal health of a business unit, division, department, or operating unit within an organization.
The manager is responsible for overseeing and leading the work of a group of people in many instances.
Plan staffing levels.
Keep track of monthly, quarterly and yearly goals
Work with management to assess and improve processes and policies
Monitor and report on revenue and cash flow
Uphold and enforce company policies
Address employee complaints or performance issues as needed
Help management create the department’s budget
Address customer issues and complaints
Work with Human Resources staff to recruit, interview, select, hire, and employ an appropriate number of employees.
Meet regularly with upper management to stay informed on company issues
Provide oversight and direction to the employees in the operating unit in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures.
Coach, mentor, and develop staff, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities.
Empower employees to take responsibility for their job and goals. Delegate responsibility and expect accountability and regular feedback.
Manage the overall operational, budgetary, and financial responsibilities and activities of the department.
Plan and implement systems that perform the work and fulfill the mission and the goals of the department efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Bs admin or relevant field.
3 - 6 years experience as a manager
Must have Knowledge/experience /connects in entertainment industry
Must have Knowledge of how social media works.
Knowledge and experience in business, supervision, management, entertainment, and social media.
Knowledge of the functions, operation, and mission of the specific department.
Better than average written and spoken communication skills.
Outstanding interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching and development skills.
Management experience in a team-oriented workplace preferred.
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a department and department staff members.
Demonstrated knowledge of basic economics, budgeting, and accounting principles and practices.
N100,000 - N150,000 Monthly.
