HR Vault is recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:

Job Position: Legal / Company Secretary

Job Location: Lagos

Job Summary

  • Coordinate and manage the entire legal framework of the company, particularly review of policies, procedures, manuals, contracts and any other legal documents.
  • Ensuring that decisions of the board of directors are duly implemented and documented.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities, represent the company in negotiations, provide legal services, advice, opinions etc. on legislations.
  • Organize AGM (producing agenda, minutes and conveying decisions), corporate governance trends, basic secretariat responsibilities, etc.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution.
  • Master’s degree in Law or any related field.
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience (Financial Industry will be an added advantage)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with people at all levels
  • Attention to detail and a well-organized approach to work
  • Ability to prioritize work and to work well under pressure
  • Capability to work with numerical information, plus analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A diplomatic approach and the confidence to provide support to high-profile company staff and board members
  • Management skills and team working skills
  • Integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.
