We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Laundry Attendant

Location: Delta

Job Summary

To perform all stages of linen processing including collecting, sorting, washing, drying, ironing, folding, storing and delivering of all linen used in the camp.
Ensure the proper cleanliness and sanitation of all soiled linens to maintain the highest standards of client satisfaction.

Responsibility

Must be able to sort laundry by colours, material and fabric.
Must be able to determine the best solution for stain treatment.
Must be able to operate and maintain washing machines and driers.
Must be able to clean the machines after use.
Must be able to track laundry to ensure right items are returned to original owners.
The ideal candidate must have valid certifications which must include BOSIET or OSP.
Proven experience as laundry personnel or similar role
Good understanding of safety practices.

Qualifications

Minimum of SSCE
The ideal candidate must have valid certifications which must include BOSIET or OSP.
Minimum of 2 years experience in this position.
Must understand basic food hygiene and Safety.
He must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
He should be able to work under pressure and must be result oriented.

Requirements:

Must be hardworking, reliable and able to function in a fast-paced environment.
Proven work experience as a laundry attendant in a location is needed
Excellent customer service skills to offer an excellent client experience.
Must show physical strength and ability to lift laundry materials.
Hands-on experience in record taking
Multi-tasking skills.
Good vision and the ability to notice small stains and imperfections.
Ability to follow directions from the Camp boss as well as follow washing machine instruction on garments.
Attentiveness and patience for customers
Helpful attitude to provide additional laundry services and housekeeping, if required.
