We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Kitchen Assistant

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Contract

Job Brief

  • The Kitchen assistant is responsible for cleaning the kitchen areas and assist cooks with food preparation process.:

Responsibilities

  • Assist cook during food preparation.
  • Wash worktables, meat blocks, cupboards, walls and appliances and clean kitchen work areas, equipment, utensils, and dishes
  • Sweep and mop floors and perform other duties to assist cooks and kitchen staff.
  • Remove and clear kitchen garbage.
  • Bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas and set tables.
  • Refill condiments and other supplies at tables and in serving areas.
  • Unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, cupboards, and storage areas.
  • Help to wash, peel and prepare basic food items.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Applicants must 3 years working experience in similar role.
  • Minimum of OND certificate.
  • Diploma from a culinary school is added advantage.
  • Must have valid HUET orBOSIET certificate.

  • Equipment knowledge
  • Ability to follow all sanitation procedures.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Time Management.
