We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: IT / Account Officer

Location: Kebbi

Main Function

The holder of the office will assist with Technical Services, troubleshooting and handling IT related issues, handling and management of the accounts of the Station and reporting to the Main Office. Also, as is necessary, assist in the aspect of business development as directed by supervisor.

Role and Task Complexities

Assists in identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software, systems and system security
Assist in developing and implementing IT policies and best practice guides for the Station of duty as well as the Organization
Assists in conducting regular system audits and software performance tuning
Software installation and networking of systems
Email set-up, troubleshooting and management and server administration and management
Designing technical architecture to assist in simplifying and improve office processes as well as integrating systems and automating processes
Designs Report templates and coordinates daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly reports of activities in the station
Prompt update on all current vouchers and cash books for payment
Oversee accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses
Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
Manage and reconcile all accounts and make certain all financial reporting deadlines are met
Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close processes
Prompt resolution of accounting discrepancies and irregularities
Prepare budget for staff, Caution fee and vendor payment
Oversee accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses
Collect and analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures, provide strategic recommendations and maintain solutions to business and financial problems

Experience/Qualification

Degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science and/or degree in Accounting or related field
1-3 years experience in relevant and related role
Experience in working in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge And Competencies:

Understanding existing and emerging technologies
Communicating and listening; gathering information
Analytical judgment and problem-solving skills
Strong Communication Skill
Understanding business practices, approaches, organization, politics, and culture.
