UI / UX Designer

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • Plan and implement new designs
  • Optimize existing user interface designs
  • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems
  • Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
  • Develop technical and business requirements and always strive to deliver intuitive and user-centered solutions
  • Combine creativity with an awareness of the design elements
  • Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
  • Create UI prototypes for new product ideas
  • Test new ideas before implementing
  • Conduct an ongoing user research
  • Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an UI-UX Designer or similar role
  • UI design portfolio
  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field is an added advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to discuss and explain design options
  • Detail oriented and customer-centered
  • Complex problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Good time management skills
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Adobe range of products including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat and Dreamweaver
  • Prior experience with HTML5 & CSS3
  • Knowledge of wireframe tools, such as Wireframe.cc and InVision.
