Job Title: Professor

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Description
We are in need of Professors in the following areas of specialty:

  • Haematology
  • Medicine
  • Surgery
  • Community Medicine.
  • Chemical Pathology
  • Medical Microbiology
  • Pathology (Morbid Anatomy / Anatomic Pathology / Histopathology)

Required Qualifications

  • A Ph.D Degree will be an added advantage
  • Applicant must also have good record of scholarly publications of at least twenty (20) journal papers of which six must be published offshore plus four (4) referred proceedings
  • In addition, applicant must also have adequate administrative experience
  • A qualification in Medical Education will be an asset.
  • Applicant must have been a Reader or Associate Professor for at least three (3) years and possess MBBS, MD and FWACP, FWACS, FNMCM, FNMCGP FNMCS, FMC Path or equivalent qualifications from the United States of America, United Kingdom or Europe, with at least ten (10) years University teaching and research experience in the relevant discipline

  • As contained in the Human Resource Policy Document of the University.

  • Salary and allowances are at enhanced levels.
