Job Title: Business Development Manager - Nigeria
We are looking for an experienced Business Developer Manager to add value to our growth activities by identifying new commercial opportunities and managing marketing efforts
You will keep abreast of trends and market conditions to provide strategic advice to upper management.
The goal is to promote and expand the company’s commercial activity that will generate revenues and lead to sustainable growth.
Due to local development, we are looking for people on the ground.
New Pro-channel account acquisition and detailed management of retailer portfolios
Collaboration with the Sales and Marketing team for the execution of campaigns
Drive the strategy and infuse the business vision into professional relationships in the designated market location
Deliver distribution, promotion, shelving, merchandising, visibility and education
KPIs with designated customers
Have control over customers ordering and invoicing process
Make sure that all practices for all locations are flexible enough to manage unique variances in designated market
Keep in touch with all customers by building loyalty and providing a high-quality experience
Build a strong business relationship that helps companies succeed and enables our customer’s stores to reach and exceed performance goals.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Minimum of 2 years working in a Customer relationship / Field Sales role demonstrating the ability to work in close partnership with internal and external key stakeholders.
Competent at operating independently, and delivering against ambiguous, fluid goals.
Focusing on the right priorities with a sound rationale for so doing.
Significant experience in effectively managing external customers and successfully working with internal teams to build new capability and implement projects.
Composed, poised and professional demeanor.
Willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.
