Job Title: Investment Promotion and Access to Finance Manager
Location: Abuja with Travels to Nasarawa and Kaduna

Job Summary
- We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Investment Promotion and Access to Finance Manager to lead initiatives aimed at increasing the availability of tractors and mechanization services in the Nigeria ecosystem.
- The role also involves managing access to finance for rural entrepreneurs by collaborating with financial institutions to develop innovative and non-traditional financing solutions.
- The ideal candidate must be fluent in Hausa and willing to travel extensively across Northern Nigeria to engage with stakeholders and drive project success.
Key Responsibilities
Investment Promotion for Mechanization:
- Drive investment initiatives to increase the number of tractors and mechanization services within the ecosystem.
- Identify and engage potential investors to promote opportunities in the agricultural mechanization sector.
- Develop and present compelling business cases to attract investments in tractors and related infrastructure.
- Foster partnerships with private sector actors, development partners, and government agencies to enhance mechanization efforts.
Access to Finance Management:
- Collaborate with banks and financial institutions in Nigeria to design and facilitate atypical financing models tailored for rural entrepreneurs.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand the financing needs of rural entrepreneurs and propose actionable solutions.
- Advocate for and support the implementation of loan products, guarantees, and other financing mechanisms to increase access to capital.
- Provide capacity building and support to rural entrepreneurs to improve their bankability and access to finance.
Ecosystem Engagement:
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including banks, investors, rural entrepreneurs, and other ecosystem actors.
- Facilitate dialogues between stakeholders to identify and address barriers to investment and financing.
- Advocate for policy changes or incentives to support investment and financing opportunities.
Travel and Fieldwork:
- Travel extensively acrossNorthern Nigeriato engage with rural entrepreneurs, banks, and other stakeholders.
- Provide on-site support and monitor progress in implementing financing and investment initiatives.
Data Collection and Reporting:
- Track and analyze data on investment inflows and financing uptake within the ecosystem.
- Provide regular progress reports to management and stakeholders, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop case studies and success stories to showcase the impact of the initiatives.
Other Duties:
- Support cross-functional teams to align investment promotion and access to finance strategies with broader organizational goals.
- Perform other tasks as assigned to contribute to the success of the organization.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Agriculture, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
- At least 8 years of experience in investment promotion, access to finance, or related roles in the agricultural or financial sector.
- Proven experience working with banks and financial institutions to design and implement financing solutions.
- Fluency in Hausa is a must.
- Strong knowledge of the agricultural mechanization ecosystem in Nigeria is a significant advantage.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
- Strong analytical and project management skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively across Northern Nigeria.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools.

Net Salary
N700,000 - N1,500,000 per month.
