We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Internal Auditor

Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities

Observing the target business environment
Inspecting the specific risk management, financial reporting and productivity strategies that are currently in place
Inquiring or asking questions of management personnel related to the effectiveness of the current internal controls
Confirming whether the goals and objectives of the business are being met
Undertaking internal audits to ensure the company meets its financial, operational and compliance objectives
Supporting the development of an assurance planning reporting process
Reporting on control deficiencies to management and making recommendations to mitigate risk and add value
Challenging current processes across the company and identify opportunities for refinement
Engaging remediation of identified issues through follow-up
Playing an active role in the maintenance and review of policies and procedures, including ensuring they are up to date with all legislation and best practices
Communicating with a variety of stakeholders across the company

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accountancy, or Economics from a reputable institution
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in an FMCG industry
Attention to detail is imperative
Organization and time-keeping skills
Ability to assess and evaluate risk, plus implement solutions
Excellent reporting skills
The ability to keep calm under pressure, especially when there are tight deadlines
The ability to think objectively
