Job Title: Human Resource Manager

Location: Kaduna
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview

  • HANC Hiring Educators is working with a prominent international school to hire a Strategic HR Manager to develop and implement an HR Strategy to promote an organizational culture of teamwork, service, high quality, transparency, accountability, innovation and inclusiveness.
  • This person will develop and deliver people management strategies that support my client's overall strategic aims and objectives.
  • The jobholder will be expected to contribute at both a strategic and operational level to identify HR priorities and recommend appropriate people management solutions that support business aims and provide a customer-focused HR service.
  • In addition, the jobholder will provide expert professional advice and support to managers and staff on all aspects of people management, current employment legislation, best practice and training.

What We Are Looking For:

  • The right candidate will have 8 - 10 years of HR experience.
  • You are a qualified HR professional with a keen interest in organizational development.
  • You have experience working in a similar role and experience of being the HR lead in a range of HR operational activities, such as talent acquisition, change management, employee engagement and culture. You are a competent user of IT systems and capable of collating and reporting on various data.
  • You will be able to develop positive working relationships with a range of stakeholders quickly.
  • You will be comfortable working fast and will have a flexible approach to work to ensure you can meet our diverse business needs.
  • You will be capable of delivering difficult messages sensitively and compassionately and be confident to represent the HR function in a range of committees and meetings.

Key Requirments

  • Degree in Human Resources or similar field.
  • CIPM or equivalent qualification in Human Resource Management
  • 8 - 10 years of HR experience with at least 5-years of proven experience partnering,advising, influencing, and delivering HR solutions in a pragmatic manner to support business needs.
  • Experience working in a school is desirable.
