We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: HR Officer

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Description

A Personable and highly motivated HR intern to support the HR manager in day-to-day administrative tasks and activities.
If you are ready to kick start your career in Human Resources and build real-world experience with recruitment, payroll, employee development, and the coordination of HR policies and procedures, this is exciting for you.
Develop and implement HR strategies, initiatives and policies aligned with the Organization as corporate objectives
Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues.
Assist the recruitment and selection process.
Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital.
Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization.
Nurture a positive working environment.
Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
Maintain pay plan and benefits program.
Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.

Requirements

A Degree holder preferably in Social Sciences or any related field.
Proven work experience as HR officer (2-3 years’ experience)
Experience in HR Strategy development and implementation.
Experience working with Human Resource Information Systems.
Working knowledge of the Nigerian Labour and Employment Laws.
Capable of hands on problem-solving, with ability to generate ideas and solutions
Ability to use own initiative and pay close attention to detail
Ability to cope with competing demands and to prioritize tasks
Strong communication skills in all forms including written, oral, email, telephone, and presentation
A positive attitude to dealing with people
Capable of working independently, and having responsibility as an individual.
