We are recruiting to fill the position of:

Job Title: Head of Operations

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

  • Management of supply and logistics operation
  • Mentor for the next generation of operations employees.
  • Liaison between logistics operation, sourcing and supply, and business office and management.
  • Improve efficiency across the operation, increase income/profitability, and decrease expenses
  • Plan and implement the overall supply chain strategy
  • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams
  • Determine key supply chain KPIs
  • Suggest solutions for process improvements
  • Identify process bottleneck and implement solutions in a timely manner
  • Work with finance, sales, and sourcing team to determine best suppliers and distributors
  • Build and maintain good relationships with vendors
  • Be a positive spokesperson and representative of our company in the community.
  • Inspect storage unit to determine, capacity, cleanliness, and any other issues
  • Regulations and industry/company standards.
  • Participates in key decision making for the company as related to supply chain
  • Proper reporting and documentation of processes and procedures
  • Maintains financial and operational records for the company as requested.
  • Attend and participate in company meetings.

Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or HND in any discipline.
  • 5+ years of operations or supply chains experience

Management & Leadership:

  • Management and supervisory experience.
  • Ability to instruct and manage others constructively.
  • Excellent people skills to utilize with staff, the owner(s), customers, and business partners/vendors
