Course: Human Resource, Social Sciences, namely, International Relations, Personnel Management and or allied discipline.

EG Group of Companies - Includes a Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Agro business and a subsidiary in the health sector.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head, Human Resources

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

  • Basically, to lead the HR team of a growing group of companies.

Responsibilities

  • Plan & coordinate the group’s workforceto the best use of employees’ talents and skills.
  • Oversees the employees and management relationship.
  • Handle staffing issues, namely, mediating disputes and directing disciplinary procedures.
  • Coordinates and supervise the work of specialist and support staff.
  • Assessment of employees’ key performance index.
  • Maintain all employees’ records according to the group’s policy, labour and legal requirements.
  • Oversees the group’s recruitments, interviews, selections and all hiring responsibilities/processes.
  • Supervises the operations of the group’s payroll.
  • Plan and oversee employees’ benefit programmes.
  • Consult with top executives on human capital management and strategic planning.

Education & Discipline

  • A First and Second Degree in Human Resource, Social Sciences, namely, International Relations, Personnel Management and or allied discipline.
  • Professional Certification(s): Minimum of a professional certification in personnel management, namely, Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management.

Years of Experience:

  • Between 8 -12 years of relevant work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years must be between a middle & senior managerial cadre.

Fundamental Skills:

  • Administrative & analytic skills.
  • Impeccable interpersonal relationship skill.
  • Basic IT skill, Microsoft Office.
  • Negotiation & persuasive skills.
  • Ability to train others.

Remuneration

  • Negotiable based on relevant exposure.
