We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Group Head, Internal Audit and Control

Location: Lagos

Description

  • The position require professionals possessing negotiation and collaboration skills needed to deliver exceptional service to our partners and inspire a team of people across companies in the group.

Summary

  • We are looking for an objective Group Head, Internal Audit to add value and improve our operations by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.
  • The successful candidate will possess a thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and a sound judgement.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and control the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations; determine internal audit scope and develop annual plans; identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings; document process and prepare auditfindings memorandum; conductfollow up audits to monitor management’s interventions

Requirements

  • B.Sc degree in Accounting or Finance and professional qualification of ICAN, with not less than 10 years post qualification experience
  • Proven working experience in a similar role in a conglomerate with advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases; proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations; high attention to detail and excellent analytical skills; sound independent judgement
  • Must not be more than 45 years of age by December this year
