Job Title: Graphics Designer

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

  • Develop design strategy and lead design research
  • Create a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos and websites with software
  • Design corporate function materials
  • Design social media graphics
  • Knowledge of media production, communication and dissemination techniques and methods. This involves alternative ways to inform via written, oral and visual media
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed
  • Plan concepts by studying relevant information and materials
  • Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Graphics Design from a top university
  • 1-2 years experience as a graphics designer or in a related field
  • Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
  • A strong eye for creative and visual composition
  • Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, advertisement and multimedia design
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficiency with required desktop publishing tools, including photoshop, Corel draw, Adobe illustrator and video editing
  • Excellent communication skills
