PearlMutual Consulting Limited (‘PearlMutual’ or ‘the Company’) is a business advisory firm established in September 2009 by a group of consultants with over 20 years of joint work experience in leading consulting/advisory services firms. The Company is incorporated as a private limited liability company under the Companies and Allied Matters Act 1990 of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (RC845125). The Company offers services in Financial Advisory, Executive Training and Recruitment. PearlMutual has a board and its head office is located in Lekki, Lagos.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Fund Manager

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Details

  • Actively manage client’s funds which include the debt and equity fund and any other capital financing that may arise.
  • Have knowledge of client's (either individual or company's) investment goals and objectives with the ability to determine their risk appetite.
  • Monitor macroeconomic (market) activities to ensure that client's investment objectives are achieved.
  • Directly manage financial investments and financial activities for our clients.
  • Perform market analysis on data and analyse the investment goals of clients to establish funds that balance income with risk management.
  • Recognize client's financial and investment challenges and be able to give professional advice to tackle such financial issues.
  • Responsible for monitoring daily our companies fund performance.
  • Communicating clearly with clients about their financial and investments decision.
  • Documenting financial reports and disclosure when necessary
  • Be up to date about financial laws and regulations to protect client’s investments and funds.
  • Keep the company updated on trends related to the company's industry.

Minimum Requirements

  • B.Sc in any Finance, Economics or any related field
  • 3-5 years of working experience in any related areas.
  • Strong communication skills especially excellent editing and writing skills.
  • Ability to work well independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience with Microsoft excel and any other software necessary to complete tasks.
  • Have great interpersonal and administrative skills.
  • Good knowledge of graphic and narrative techniques for data presentation.
  • Certification in financial analysis is an added advantage.
  • Be able to build a strong professional network with clients.
