Job Title: Financial and Reporting Accountant

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Brief

  • Responsible for data integrity and ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting, inventory accounting, revenue recognition, data compilation and analysis.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • General accounting tasks, including reconciling and maintaining balance sheet accounts and general ledger operations, preparing monthly closing and financial reports, preparing journal entries.
  • Preparing all statutory state and federal tax returns, including VAT, CIT, PAYE and
  • primarily responsible for all tax-related matters and primary contact with the Tax consultant.
  • Being responsible for bookkeeping, facilitating billing, A/R, A/P, GL, account
  • Being responsible for product pricing calculations and profitability analysis.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of working experience as an Accountant
  • B.Sc. in Accounting Compulsory
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software Like QuickBooks
  • Experience with general ledger functions, creating financial statements
  • Additional certification ICAN, ACCA is mandatory
  • Excellent understanding and appreciation of IFRS, GAAP and IAS. Understanding of USGAAP is a plus.

Salary
N4,000,000 - N6,000,000 monthly.
