We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Equity Trader

Location: Marina, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Trading on Equities on all the trading platforms (NSE, NASD, and FMDQ).
  • Continuously monitor the market conditions and remain updated on the current market trends and prepare relevant reports.
  • Provide an insight to the clients regarding their Equity as well as relevant feedback to the analysts and portfolio managers based on the market trends.
  • Recommend new strategies by evaluating the existing Equity investment plans.
  • Offer Equity products and services based on the client's financial abilities and investment interest.
  • Perform all back-end tasks to make entry into new markets and ensure all trading activities are carried out efficiently by adhering to the company's rules and regulations.
  • Maintain healthy professional relationships with the clients, handle all their issues, and provide a timely resolution.
  • Maintaining and managing Equity products efficiently.
  • Supporting Equity strategies by performing market and portfolio analysis
  • Monitoring Equity performances.
  • Addressing customer inquiries and problems to enable the generation of business within the Equity filed as well as support the asset growth.
  • Performing stress tests and simulations on existing and proposed portfolios.
  • Communicating with performance analysts, broker-dealers, vendors, equity managers, and research providers to perform portfolio management.
  • Contributing fresh information to portfolio strategy and ongoing investment ideas discussion.
  • Analysing financial statements and developing an investment thesis whenever needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree qualification.
  • 5 - 7 years Experience.
