We also offer inland delivery service in Nigeria.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Driver
Location: Lagos State
Employment Type: Full-time
Reporting Structure: Supervisors and Managers.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Must Possess Adequate Knowledge of Truck, Van, and Car Driving
- Practice safe driving habits
- Follow all state and national safety regulations and standards
- Accurately follow routes, maps, and directions
- Open vehicle doors and assist Consignee
- Assist / support to Load cargo and shipment
- Keep exterior of vehicle clean and presentable
- Maintain vehicle equipment; replace oil, fill gas tank, perform general motor vehicle maintenance as needed for safety.
- Clean windows, windshields, and mirrors as needed.
- Keep interior of vehicle clean of debris and clutter
- Load and unload ( in VHI facility, Ports, warehouses and receiver's facility)
- Collect payments, Issue delivery waybills, and offer receipts when necessary.
- Write / prepare delivery report on a weekly basis.
- Follow schedules and rerouting in a timely manner when faced with traffic or congestion.
Qualifications - Driver Employment Requirements
- Able to work well alone
- Grade requirement: SSCE, GCE, NECO or more.
- Reliable and punctual with dedicated professionalism to job and duties
- Able to adapt to changing schedules or routines
- Excellent time management skills
- Organized and able to follow a schedule
- Focused on customer service
- Positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Physically able to lift and carry object up from 30 to 50 pounds
- Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and sit for long periods of time during daily routine
- Able to work night, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Drivers must possess basic education requirements of at least SSCE,
- Drivers must be of the minimum age of 30 years.
- Drivers must be married for a minimum of 2 years.
- Drivers must be able to read and write good english
- Drivers must have a valid driving licence upon applying for the position.
- Drivers must have a required driving experience of not less than 3 years, upon applying for the position.
- Drivers must have locations know-how within the operational state and inter state.
- Drivers must possess driving skills and understand traffic rules.
Addition edge for Applicants:
- Good computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Salary: N40,000 - N50,000 per month
