Job Title: Chief Operations Officer

Location: Lagos
Report to: CEO

Job Summary

  • One of our clients, a leading supplier of Provider of Healthcare Practitioners, Medical Diagnostic Products, Services and Solutions in Nigeria and across West Africa is looking for an ambitious and self-driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join the team! You will be responsible for overseeing the overall business operations strategy.

Job Specification

  • Assist in formulating the company's short and long-term objectives and supporting corporate initiatives
  • Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures
  • Establish and drive policies to promote maximum performance and dedication towards the company’s mission, vision, and culture
  • Develop performance measures and monitoring systems to support efficiency across the supply chain, technical services, and customer service departments

Candidate Specifications

  • A first degree from an accredited University
  • MBA degree holder, highly preferred
  • Minimum of eight (8) years operations planning and / or general management experience with at least two (2) years in a COO / Operations Director position.
  • Have great people skills
  • Previous experience in a reputable medical diagnostics distribution company is highly desired
  • Customer Relationship Management
  • Sales and Operations Planning Experience
  • Profitability management
  • Strategic planning and vision
  • Quality management
