NPG Farms Hatchery & Agro Allied Services - We are agricultural establishment that is committed to producing and marketing best quality poultry and farm products. We have been in operations for close to two decades.

We are currently undergoing a massive re-engineering and expansion process that require to fill the vacant position below:

Job Title: Chef

Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Description

  • We urgently need to recruit a chef at our npG Chicken Café. The Chef will create a stunning selection of diverse menu items for our customers.
  • S/he will display chef skills to create masterful dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner and unique dishes that inspire guests to come back again and again to see what is new and special in the Chicken Café.

Responsibilities

  • Cooks guests' orders promptly according to their preferences and employs food safety best practices
  • Selects choice ingredients that will give dishes the best flavour
  • Analyze recipes and make menu changes when necessary to keep customers happy and to minimize overhead costs when possible.
  • Able to prepare barbecues chicken, smoothie, parfait, stir fried noodles, Basmatis rice, grilled/crispy chicken, gizzard, popcorn, shawarma, hotdog etc.
  • Sound in preparation of barbecues chicken and ability to train sales reps who specialize in sales of barbecues.
  • Keeps up with trends in cooking and ensure that guests have a positive experience.
  • Meet with customers as needed to arrange menu items for banquets and other special occasions.
  • Works quickly and accurately during busy periods, such as weekends and evenings and public holidays.
  • Sound in use of social media and related applications in ordering food and meeting customers need.
  • Monitor and oversee sanitation practices to ensure that regulations and standards of cleanliness are always being strictly adhered to

Requirements

  • Experienced Graduates of Catering & Hotel / Food Management.
  • Applicants with lower degree but years of relevant experiences can also apply
  • 1-5 years work experience.
